ABSTRACT
Depression, anxiety, and apathy are some of the most significant psychiatric problems associated with dementia. They are diagnosed both as primary illnesses in individuals with dementia and in association with the states of agitation and psychosis described in Chapter 9. In this chapter, each of these conditions will be reviewed within the context of dementia.
