ABSTRACT
This book has outlined the methodology required for sound quantitative research. It has provided the reader with the essential tools needed to perform quantitative research for many different purposes, and with various data types. The steps required to produce reliable and valid results have been described. Researchers carry a heavy responsibility as the results of their work may have real-world consequences for a number of stakeholders. For this reason, this book should be viewed as the foundation on which further training in research methodology should be built.
