ABSTRACT
If we are allowed to draw parallels we might say that we have the chance to study history from text books and, we admit, from works of art. Depending on the goal we set ourselves we should recommend anyone interested in the French Revolution to pick up a history text book or, for instance, Victor Hugo's Ninety Three.
