ABSTRACT

Like the sound systems mentioned earlier in the text, a video system is a collection of components: media storage unit (computer), cameras, cabling/ network, and output devices (monitors, projectors, televisions, and lightemitting diode [LED]/liquid crystalline display [LCD] panels). The video system deals with both audio and video combined together for the playback of still images, prerecorded video, or live video inputted from a camera. As you might assume, there are a number of different configurations one could choose, based on the needs of the project. The following chapter details the purpose of different video systems and their components.
