ABSTRACT
This chapter covers the rationale for and process of an audit of the current models of TA deployment, preparation and practice in your school. While this chapter is intended for school leaders at the fi rst stage of undertaking the fundamental rethink of school-wide TA usage, there are useful ideas that can be easily adapted by individual teachers seeking to appraise and develop their own classroom practice regarding TAs.
