ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses how art teaching can be practiced as a way to foster innovation. It describes how art lessons can be challenging questions, innovative experiences, and independent investigations to view art in open ways. The chapter examines such themes as treating students as artists and players, searching for a contemporary art teaching model, or trying on the play artist’s role.
