ABSTRACT

The context of my subject is the ‘eternal’ conflict between the lives of people ranked vertically above and below each other by political power, and the effort of people to live side by side without any of the priorities established by power. The historical longing for equality is the ideal form of the notion of social justice. Yet every individual who longs for equality is subjected to the reality of the social status quo. So far, historical humanity is proof that permanent equality, stability and full satisfaction are unattainable. As a biotype, human beings cannot expect, in the course of their lives, to attain a ‘state’ which allows them to stop, relax, and enjoy lasting repose. Individuals usually experience personal satisfaction as a chronologically limited phase of anticipated success, as the achievement of a goal. Permanent self-satisfaction is a threat to life, and presents an extreme danger to humanity as humanity.
