ABSTRACT
I consider this a very important aspect of our roles, as so much can be achieved by developing a positive relationship with a child’s parents. I have found that many of the parents of our children, mothers usually, as they are the ones who generally provide the care during the day, feel marginalised from other parents and staff at the school.
