ABSTRACT

Providing a modified curriculum for the children who were failing to access the National Curriculum has proved to be a very successful intervention in our school. However, as with any strategy, the quality of delivery has to be maintained if its effectiveness is to continue. It is very easy for standards to begin to slip after the initial enthusiasm and drive have worn off.
