On the first day of the Introduction to Music Education course, Professor Jenkins asked the students why they want to be music teachers. This is what they said:
Nick Playing in my high school band was meaningful to me in several ways. The concerts, the marching shows, and working together as a team to create music that everyone enjoyed were great experiences.
