ABSTRACT
To improve the quality of the fight against enemy tanks, create and amass tank destroyer artillery cadres, improve their qualifications, and separate antitank artillery units from other types of artillery, light and antitank artillery regiments of the Reserves of the Supreme High Command, anti-tank battalions of rifle divisions, and 45-mm cannon batteries of rifle regiments are renamed tank destroyer artillery regiments, battalions, and batteries by Order No. 0528 of the People's Commissar of Defense, dated 1 July 1942.
