ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of philosophical theories of multiple personality.1 However, my discussion is guided by a specifi c interest. I want to know the conditions under which more than one fundamental entity can be said to exist in one body. Thus, the main question of this chapter is whether any of the theories in the literature have captured these conditions.2 The answer is no.3
