ABSTRACT

The perceptual process includes both the inputs to the person and the selection of inputs to which the person attends. A person’s perceptual process learns from repeated exposure to stimuli and stores recallable images, which process future inputs faster. The perceptual process is a mechanism that helps people adapt to changing environments.2
