The German spies are actively at work in Great Britain is well known to the authorities. The author explains how the vast army of German spies took its orders from a head agent in London, who in received instructions from the 'chief of the German Intelligence Department' in Berlin. The Author attached to the Special Department at New Scotland Yard, explained the dark-bearded man. A member of the secret service in the employ of his Foreign Office made a report from Berlin that a young girl had approached the German military attach offering, for three thousand pounds, to supply him with photographs of a number of confidential plans of their eastern counties and of the Clyde defences. The attachment had reported to the War Office in Berlin, hence the knowledge obtained by the British secret agent.
