ABSTRACT
ALL the members of Nili in Palestine were tracked down and arrested. In the prison at Nazareth they were subjected to prolonged torture, but not one of the group revealed the secrets of Nili. Reuven Schwartz was beaten to a pulp. His jailors, fearing that he might succumb to his wounds, hanged him from the bars of his cell window to make it seem that he had committed suicide.
