ABSTRACT
When people reason they do make mistakes: they make logical mistakes in their inferences and factual mistakes in their premisses. Some of these mistakes are more common than others. It is these common mistakes that are known as logical fallacies. Careful reflection, study, and observation help people avoid these common mistakes.
