ABSTRACT
Aaron was brought to the nursery by his mother after spending some ‘taster days’ there with her on previous occasions. She struggled up the path to the entrance while Aaron allowed himself to be ‘dragged’. Once inside the entrance to the nursery, Aaron began hitting and kicking his mother. Aaron’s mother offered to stay with him at the nursery but staff thought that it might be best if she left him, with an agreement to call her if he did not calm down.
