ABSTRACT
Good and very good head teachers and senior leaders, have a very clearly defined value system and philosophy for education, but just as importantly, and more particular to them, they also have action-based imperatives – in other words, they have a certainty about what outstanding schools, and therefore their own school, should be doing.
