ABSTRACT
Social theorists frequently write about their theories in academically inaccessible language. This permits various people to interpret the theory differently, and perhaps contributes to the life and utility of a theory. As a public sociologist concerned with emancipatory research however, my aim in describing inclusive masculinity theory is the opposite. I desire to explicate the theory in accessible language, so that the reader will understand exactly what I suggest, and what I do not.
