ABSTRACT
Feelings Exploration was created by Hilda Taba (Walden, 1969), a pioneer in social studies education, during the 1960s when educational theorists sought to address the need for aff ective education. By citing Taba’s work, teacher education professors may help their students realize that this model is not a new fad, but instead has a long, venerable history.
