ABSTRACT

Any typical approach to concluding this book is complicated. This is indeed my own fault and owes to the fact that in many of this book’s pages I have suggested, recommended, and then practiced various intellectual stances, all of which weigh against exciting conclusions. Therefore, and precisely to the extent that I have been successful in making this case, I run the risk of being self-contradictory here as I proclaim the importance of my own results and findings in this summary and conclusions chapter. But reassuring myself with the idea that contradictions can be instructive, and (as was discussed in Chapter Four) often more so than false consistencies, I will next present my view of the advantages of this volume.
