ABSTRACT
Every team chose particular exterior cladding materials for their house for a multitude of reasons. For a climate with significant heat gain, such as Washington, DC, a thermal storage material on the exterior has significant advantages. Only four teams in the 2007 competition chose thermal storage materials for their cladding.
