Climate change makes for most interesting times. There is widespread consensus among the international scientifi c community that humaninduced climate change is happening and that, even with the most immediate and sustained mitigation efforts, there will be no escaping some time-lagged catastrophic consequences from past emissions of carbon dioxide and other gases.
