ABSTRACT

I believe very strongly that without our natural curiosity we probably wouldn’t have survived as a species. I also think that all of our learning depends upon wanting to find out more and looking for ways of doing that. Two really powerful ways of finding out more are (1) to notice things and (2) to ask questions. These two things are related of course. In fact they’re like two sides of the same coin. When you notice things you can use what you’ve noticed to ask questions. And in trying to answer the questions your attention is often drawn back to what else you can notice.
