Activity: Advertising Let’s start with a little experiment. Work with several friends and get them to write

down or draw the first thoughts that come into their minds when you say the word

‘sweets’. Now do these things:

If they thought of particular sweets, ask them to think about why that brand of

sweet flashed into mind so quickly. To do this they will need to remember what

went on in their heads when you said ‘sweets’. Did they imagine pictures, hear

sounds, remember tastes etc.?
