ABSTRACT
In the preceding chapters, we have considered why the EC was created and how it has developed. We have also considered who ‘runs’ the Community and the various sources of law that make up the Community’s legal system. In Chapter 5, we also considered the relationship between national and Community law. In order to understand how the Community works in practice, we now need to consider how EC law is enforced.
