INTRODUCTION The protection of shareholder interests and, in particular, minority shareholder interests, is of fundamental importance. The position of the majority shareholders is usually better in that, as mentioned elsewhere, they have the power to dismiss the directors under s 168 of the Companies Act (CA) 2006.
