ABSTRACT

From time to time, my teaching colleagues and I bemoan the lives our students stand to lead by pursuing careers in acting. In the amiable way of cohorts, we don’t visit the matter often, nor do we approach it in the stark way employed by Bruce Weber and others writing in the same vein.
