ABSTRACT
This book is for the most part the outcome of the work carried out in the context of a three-year research partnership on water law reforms sponsored by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF ). The research work was carried out from early 2006 to early 2009 by two teams of researchers based in Delhi and Geneva. The project was coordinated in Switzerland by the International Environmental Law Research Centre (IELRC).
