ABSTRACT
It can be a really powerful way too, because a poem is often quite short, and a
lot of ideas are concentrated there. Early on in this book we talked about ways
of looking at things. At the heart of all the poetry you may write there is your particular way of looking at things. You are unique – there has never been anybody quite like you before and there never will be again. What you mean to
say is precious for that reason alone. And a poem well written makes people
listen as you pour your ideas into their minds.
