ABSTRACT
Major donors are individuals who make sizeable personal contributions. Major gifts are, broadly speaking, those that are large relative to the majority of the gifts the organisation receives. The defi nition of a major giver thus varies from one organisation to another, and the donor will also have their own perspective on what constitutes a signifi cant gift for them personally at any time.
