ABSTRACT
Since the Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping made this famous quip 30 years ago, China has been on a transformative and challenging journey of social, economic and enterprise reform. Thirty years has witnessed remarkable progress in China. Not only has China become a leading emerging economy, it has also become an interesting research subject as it travelled along a unique road to building the so-called “socialist market economy.”
