ABSTRACT
This essay covers certain books and articles on Jewish immigration to Argentina (more complete bibliographic references may be found elsewhere), 1 in order to point to the main problems and discussions arising from such publications, with particular examples which, in our judgment, have carried the greatest weight in Argentine academia. With this aim in view, it will focus on a segment of the historiographic material in English and Spanish, written in the main from the 1980s to the present day.
