Barbara is currently a lecturer in the English Department at the University of Toledo. Her books, book chapters, and journal articles have made a significant contribution to Indigenous studies and I strongly recommend everyone read her chapter, “Where are Your Women?: Missing in Action,” published in Four Arrow’s book, Unlearning the Language of Conquest.
