Gender and being “bad”: Inner-city students’ photographs

The chapter has two goals. First, I will share findings about gender and the students who were labeled “bad” in an inner-city school. Second, I will illustrate how a project that began as ethnography became a meaningful project and garnered better data once I involved the students in a photo-elicitation interview project.
