ABSTRACT
Several of this book’s contributors have enumerated the needs of transgender youth and identified the obstacles that youth-serving agencies face in addressing their needs. This final chapter, using case examples from several nationally known transgender-affirming agencies, offers recommendations on agency philosophies concerning the reality of transgender youth and additionally offers suggestions on ways to create safe, welcoming, and nurturing environments.
