ABSTRACT
The previous chapter has reconstructed a political ‘violent Sartre’ by building his anti-colonial political essays on an ontological and ethical structure for each of the projects of violence.1 What remains to be clarifi ed is whether this ‘violent Sartre’ in supporting emancipation believed that terrorism is an acceptable means as what critics feared: that he embraced all types of violent means without any limitations.
