ABSTRACT
It is not my intention to engage here in a comprehensive study of the personalities who stood at the helm of Egypt and Israel during the period covered by this book and who initiated and led the various moves that made peace into a tangible reality. I will limit myself to those events with which I have been closely associated and which complement the picture that I have tried to present to the reader.
