Markowiczowa and the prominente had waited impatiently for this moment, and now they were convinced of the truth of the rumors that had spoken of new prisoners who were elite, intellectuals, rich! The newcomers marched in perfect order, carrying parcels and bags. The experienced eye of the police immediately noted how perfunctory the Werkschutz search was. These people could buy up Werk C lock, stock and barrel!
