ABSTRACT
Only a small part of the Skarżysko prisoners, those who were lucky enough to remain in camps in Częstochowa, were freed in January, 1945. Between August 1944 and January 1945, most of the men were sent, either directly from Skarżysko or through Częstochowa, to Buchenwald. Two incidents are associated with this camp.
