ABSTRACT

As was the case with Rosenthal’s Pygmalion in the Classroom, it is unlikely that there is a definite link between Robert Ornstein’s The Psychology of Consciousness and Georgi Lozanov’s Sugestologiia, the Bulgarian original of Suggestology and Outlines of Suggestopedy. Nonetheless, once again, it is interesting to compare the research work of the staff members at the Institute of Suggestology with that of Western (and, in particular, American) researchers in another important area: that of the human brain.
