ABSTRACT
The working party report BPEG 1991 states that, when choosing a pacemaker mode for a patient, the ideal is production of a paced cardiac rhythm with as many features of normal sinus rhythm as possible. For each of the five groups of bradycardia, they give an optimal and an alternative. These are summarized in Table 47.4 and are described below.
