ABSTRACT
Transoesophageal echocardiography (TEE) has been used to calculate CO using Doppler and two-dimensional imaging at the mitral, aortic, tricuspid, and pulmonic valves, the ascending and descending aortas, and pulmonary artery. These methods and thermodilution closely agree.
