ABSTRACT
There are, of course, many other matters capable of having an effect on the share price of a company. A pharmaceutical company might discover a vaccine against the virus (or viruses) causing AIDS or perhaps a cure for cancer. A mining company might discover precious metals or oil on recently acquired land. The pension funds of a group of companies may have been pilfered by directors to shore-up the failing businesses of the group. All or any of these scenarios may have an effect on the price or value of related securities.
