ABSTRACT
On Monday July 10, the members of the Israeli advance team left Washington for Camp David. We drove ninety kilometers northwest in the Israeli embassy’s cars, into the heavily wooded Catoctin Mountains of Maryland, to a green, hilly and magnificent retreat. We arrived at Camp David having passed through some tightly controlled barriers manned by police with police dogs, FBI personnel and Marines.
