ABSTRACT
Camp David improved Israel’s standing vis-à-vis the Palestinians in the international press and diplomatic corps, but the support quickly dissipated as the region flared up with a new cycle of violence and Israel’s positive peace-seeking image was transformed overnight to that of a monstrous superpower that slaughters and fires without mercy on a civilian, weak, rights-deprived population. The media portrayal of our reality was twisted and manipulative.
