ABSTRACT
A closed question is simply one that can be answered in one word, usually yes or no, for example, ‘Did you train this morning?’ The type of information that a closed question elicits is usually brief and specific. Open questions invite the other person to say as much as they wish on an issue. An open version of the closed question given above is, ‘What happened at training this morning?’
