ABSTRACT
Whiplash is a mechanism of injury, with acute neck flexion/extension, and is typically caused by a rear-end motor vehicle collision. The Quebec task force used the term ‘whiplash-associated disorders’ (WAD) to describe the resulting clinical manifestations.
