ABSTRACT

This chapter concentrates on printing data directly from Excel. There are several ways in which user can do this: printing; saving to floppy disk; transferring the data to a Word file or a Power-Point presentation, email, or publishing on the web. It suggests to click on Menu File Page Set-up to obtain a dialog box which pops up with various options. Normally the contents of the first and most commonly used tab, Page will be visible. Also users may find it useful to put the name of them workbook, or a suitable title, at the top of every page. Finally gridlines can be unattractive especially since Excel only prints the parts of the rows and columns used. Users may not want to print the whole of a worksheet, and Print area command enables to select part only of a sheet. It suggests drag over the area which user want to print and click on File Print Area Set Print Area.
