ABSTRACT

This chapter considers methods and techniques that have yet to make the transition to widespread use in practice. It covers an eclectic range of techniques, many of which have their roots in pricing techniques used in the mainstream equity and gilt markets. There is insufficient room to cover all the techniques in great detail in this short text so we will concentrate on those methods considered to have the greatest potential for use in property valuation practice. Where other methods are mentioned, the reader has the opportunity to follow up the reading list at the end of the book to gain information on these areas.
